PLASTIC TANK BACK NUT – 2″ BSP THREADED, PLATED STEEL

This back nut is usually used with a Tank Inlet point or Filstop. Can be used as a back nut to secure a 2″ inlet in place on a plastic tank.

Comes complete with a matching o-ring 55mm x 3mm NBR 70. 

If you are replacing a filling point on your storage tank then you this back nut is designed to go with our overfill prevention valves and also our 2″ BSP threaded replacement fill point, we offer this as a kit or individual parts depending on your requirements. All of our fill point caps are also compatible with these products so we can supply the complete kit to rebuild or replace your current filling point.

In most cases the fuel tanker driver will connect his delivery hose to the 2″ BSP threaded port and fill the tank at approx. 500+ lpm so this piece of your tanks filling system is quite important to avoid accidental spills or leaks while the tank is being filling at a high flow rate. 2″ BSP is the standard thread used by mostly all of the domestic fuel delivery trucks so you can have piece of mind whoever you use for your heating oil or diesel they will have no issues connecting to your tank.
