- Service/replace your filters
- Ensure your tank is protected from water
- Secure your tank against oil theft
- Monitor oil levels and refill timely.

An oil tank de-aerator removes air from the heating oil line, ensuring that the oil burns efficiently and helps prevent issues with the boiler or burner. If you have problems with air in your oil supply line or your system isn’t running smoothly, a de-aerator may be helpful. We stock a range of deaerators.

To prevent oil theft, consider the following:
- Install a lockable tank cap.
- Use motion-sensor lighting or CCTV around your tank.
- Install an oil tank alarm that detects sudden drops in oil levels.
- Position the tank in a secure, hidden area where it’s harder to access.

An overfill prevention valve is a safety device designed to prevent the tank from being overfilled during oil delivery. It automatically shuts off the oil flow when the tank reaches a certain level. This is especially important for avoiding oil spills and environmental hazards.
