If you are looking to replace or add a 2″ filling point to your fuel storage tank then you will need this adaptor, not a complete fill point but one part of the kit as a spare. If you do require a full kit please see here – Fuel Tank Fill Point Kit

2″ BSP Taper Male thread X 2″ BSP Parrallel Male thread.

Hex Nipple – Plated mild steel tank fill point.

A plastic tank fill point on a fuel storage tank is usually 2″ BSP, you will usually find a filling cap or vent cover on the top of your tank as well as an inspection hatch, although this is usually a lot bigger.

Strangely a lot of the time when receiving a fuel delivery the drivers very rarely use the fill point and they use the inspection hatch. You may also find an overfill prevention device on your fill point, this is designed to stop the flow of fuel into the tank once it has become full. It will only work obviously if your fuel delivery driver attached his delivery hose to in the correct manner to the overfill device, which terminates in the same size thread 2″ BSP.
