Description

GLUES & THREAD SEALING PRODUCTS

There are various products that are used for sealing the threads when screwing fuel products together – this depends to some degree on the size of the thread and the strength of the bond required.

We carry a number of sealants from Bondloc in 250 ml containers (complete with spout) such as B243 Nutloc (medium strength) and B270 Threadloc (high strength).

We can supply Heldite, Bondloc and PTFE tape in convenient sizes.

Due to Royal Mail restrictions on the posting of flamable solids we cannot send any of these products through the standard post so please bear in mind when adding adhesive products to your shopping basket that your carriage charge will be automatically upgraded to courier.

There are some items which Royal Mail is unable to carry for legal or health and safety reasons. This comprehensive A-Z guide gives our business customers detailed information about the things you cannot post with us in the UK, as well as highlighting the areas where there may be exceptions > HERE

I ordered a fresh roll of PTFE tape because others I have were difficult to apply as they are rather old! Next time, I think I’ll try some thread sealing products for use with joints where kerosene tends to leak.
