BREAKAWAY SWIVEL JOINT STAINLESS STEEL – SUITABLE FOR USE WITH DEF/ADBLUE®
The Stainless Steel Swivel with PTFE Seals is designed for where a swivel joint is required to connect rigid and flexi pipework, or it can be fitted onto the inlet of a nozzle from the delivery hose. These stainless steel swivels are suitable for use with diesel fuels, AdBlue® and chemicals, with a max pressure of 25 bar.
The purpose of a breakaway swivel is to prevent pump and equipment damage if a vehicle drives away having forgotten to remove the dispensing nozzle from the filler cap. This could cause severe damage to equipment, potential spills and a loss of fuel. It also swivels so as to make handling the connected hose easier, as it doesn’t get twisted up on itself at the joint. The swivel is designed to break at a certain point and shut the valve so it will not leak.
This breakaway swivel joint, made from stainless steel, is suitable for use with DEF/Urea/AdBlue®.
This has 1″ BSP female inlet with 3/4″ BSP male outlet to screw direct into the back of the nozzle.
