Description
BOTTOM OUTLET FILTER VALVE
Bottom Outlet Filter Valve – AFV-1000 – Often supplied as standard with most major plastic tank manufacturers. For use on steel or bottom outlet plastic domestic heating oil tanks.
The tank must be installed with at least enough clearance beneath the filter bowl to allow for maintenance of the filter, including room for a tray to collect any spillage.
This Filter valve has been fully tested and was in full working order upon leaving our works; reasonable care in fitting and subsequent servicing will ensure trouble free operation.
Featuring an isolation valve, 50 micron nylon filter element, 1″ BSP male tank-fitting adaptor.
The outlet is 3/8″ BSP Female and this comes supplied with a 3/8″ BSP Male to 10mm compression fitting as standard.
Comes supplied c/w a roll of PTFE tape and a 10mm plastic bottle of Heldite for the tank connection.

Tip: For filter replacement make sure you use the AFV-1000-KIT Element listed in the drop down menu by product required below, because this comes with ‘O’ rings having the correct profile. Using any other filter replacement kit could result in a poor seal and consequential leakage.

We can ship the AFV-1000 which includes the heldite but due to the additional carriage charge we have set up a minimum order requirement of 5 off and then regular courier rates can be applied.
