In case you hadn’t noticed, it’s getting darker earlier in the evenings. The summer pools have been swapped for back to schools and day by day it is getting a little colder!
As we are approaching the winter months, we thought we would give you a heads up on how to keep warm this winter and minimalise the potential for a heating disaster!
A blocked up filter can cause intermittent supply of heating oil, resulting in flame failure and cold feet! We recommend replacing the filters prior to the winter season as part of the servicing.
Protect your oil heating system from water with one of our many products! We have Water Finding Paste to detect the mischievous rainwater. Water Trap Filters to drag the pesky water from your heating oil, and if the water content starts to prove a real issue then we have a couple of fantastic submersible pump solutions!
As we are now going into the winter months and using our heating systems more often. It is essential you ensure you have a strong fire protection system in place. Check that your Fire Valves are isolating and resetting properly to protect your home.
